It has been such a long time since I last visited. I want to share with you a few of my thoughts on overcoming sin.

I look at the example of Yahshua (Jesus) in the wilderness being tempted of the devil. What did He do? He quoted from the scriptures "It is written".

So must we do today when we are faced with temptation. However, we cannot do as Messiah did if we do not know the scriptures. Remember Timothy..."But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus"

My encouragement to everyone here is to "know the scriptures". We know the scriptures through reading, then after having read will we get the understanding through prayer and dependency on God.

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you".

May God be ever glorified and may He continue to grant unto us His graces.
