It is clear that the Bible doesnt save but Jesus Saves us through His Holy Spirit. Through the KNOWLEDGE of the BIBLE we are now aware of JESUS CHRIST. We didnt receive the Gospel firsthand like the First disciples of Jesus Christ.

The writings IN The Bible are called the WORD of GOD because it was inspired by the HOLY Spirit of GOD.
All prophets of God and desciples of Jesus were DRIVEN by the HOLY Spirit of God to write things down for ALL COMING GENERATION.

Why was it necessarry to write it down for all the coming generations?? The FIRST BELIEVERS werent able to tell ALL peoples about the Gospel of Salvation. In the Past it was told verbally and not by Writings. OT was written already but the WORDS spoken by Jesus were not written yet. So, Holy Spirit drove many to write down all things concerning the 3,5 years of the mission of Jesus Christ to bring the Good news of the Kingdom of GOD. Jesus began and the believers continued this work till TODAY and will continue to preach the Gospel of Salvation till the end of this present world. Jesus promised to be with all the believers personally. These writings are called the GOSPELS. All the letters of Paul are also considered to be part of the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST because Paul was authorized by Holy Spirit to bring the Gospel to the Gentiles. Not only the eleven disciples were chosen by Jesus to preach the Gospel. Many peoples like Paul from other generations were called to preach the Gospel.
Till now there are peoples called by Jesus to preach the Gospel of Salvation.
All do it the way they are LED by the Spirit of GOD.

Now that the writings have been compiled together than the WHOLE WORLD can read it. But many also cannot read or write. For this they also have spoken bibles on cd. Than they only have to HEAR the writings of the Bible.
WhicH is more diffcult? To hear or to read the writings of the Bible??
Neither is easy but still a WAY to find out about the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST>
Whatever WAY you found out about JESUS, it doesnt matter.
Was it by reading the Bible, or by hearing the preaching of the gospel in the church or directly by God's Holy Spirit. It only matters that a person knows about Jesus being the Saviour and Lord of this world and that His Spirit leads to the TRUTH. The Bible is very important to read as the KNOWLEDGE of SALVATION and ETERNAL LIFE and as LEARNING to Have Hope, PATIENCE and COMFORT.
Rom 15,4
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

The Bible is PART of THE TRUTH but not the INTIRE TRUTH.
Holy Spirit leads to the INTIRE (WHOLE, ALL) TRUTH.
The Holy Spirit of GOD does the Salvationwork in our lives. Thats why all believers must keep walking under His guidance. And also be led by Him to receive the Salvation of their souls.

Than when Holy Spirit will begin to work than they will find out WHO JESUS REALLY IS??
We know that Jesus is GOD by the Spirit of GOD and through the writings of the Bible. There is NO OTHER SOURCE than the BIBLE and HOLY SPIRIT to find out the TRUTH for all the coming generations.
Humanbeings can tell things verbally but STILL THEY HAVE TO READ THE BIBLE to find out IF what they are telling is ACCORDING THE SCRIPTURES or not.
Thats why Jesus said to Search(study)the Scriptures.

Jn 5,39

Search(STUDY) the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have ETERNAL LIFE: and they are they which testify of ME (JESUS).

Jesus said to study the Bible to find out About HIM. Just study the Bible and let Holy Spirit give the revelation about what is written in the Bible.

I know that the Bible is not God but the KNOWLEDGE that comes from the Biblical writings are FROM Holy Spirit.
Thats why it is called the ''Word of GOD''.
My point was that the Bible IS the WORD of GOD because it was inspired by Holy Spirit of GOD.

No prophets or desciples have written anything from their own imaginated mind.
Also the NEW TESTAMENT was inspired by Holy Spirit to be written down. Thats WHY it was compiled as One Book, which is now called the BIBLE.
Bible means ''books'' that is ''writings'' of an AUTHOR.

The AUTHOR of the BIBLE is not a humanbeing but it is the Holy Spirit of GOD. Peoples were only driven by the Spirit of GOD to write it down on paper.

Old Testament and New Testament are inspirations of God's Holy Spirit. Jesus is the spoken word but the Bible is the written word of GOD. The written word of God is KNOWLEDGE which LEADS to Salvation and Eternal life THROUGH the Holy Spirit of GOD. If the Bible is USED Without Holy Spirit than it wont have NO EFFECT AT ALL. The Bible trough the Holy Spirit is powerfull.

Everything happens THROUGH the Spirit of GOD.
Like the Bible was written THROUGH the Spirit of GOD by the prophets of GOD and the desciples of Jesus Christ.

When a person speaks THROUGH the Spirit of GOD than that is also considered the Word of GOD. Because it is not its OWN WORDS. Holy Spirit gave the words to speak.

This is an example which was said by Jesus Himself.
Mt 10,19
But when they deliver you up, take no thought HOW or WHAT ye shall speak: for it shall be GIVEN you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

Mt 10,20
For it is NOT you that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

When a person preaches or testifies about Jesus than when that person is FILLED with Holy Spirit, than Holy Spirit in that person will be speaking through that person.

It is also like Satan spoke through Peter to Jesus.
Jesus than rebuked Satan about the words that came out of the mouth of Peter.

We are just vessels in the hands of the spiritual world. Humanbeings are not yet capable to run their own mind and heart INDEPENDANTLY. We have received Holy Spirit to learn how to run our heart and mind BY and THROUGH the Truth. This is also a fruit of the Spirit, which is called ''SELF CONTROLE''

In the past we were CONTROLLED by SIN and SATAN(and his demons). Now we are going to be guided how to drive ourself. Holy Spirit gives us "SELFCONTROLE".
We are not PUPPETS if we walk in the Spirit. We are LED by the Spirit and not controlled.

What a difference is it now with GOD in our lives.
When we where under the Law than we were controlled by the Law because we were controlled by SIN and Satan.
Now we cannot be controlled by Sin nor Satan because of the PRESENCE of God's Holy Spirit in our soul.

Holy Spirit is at CONTROL over our lives but He also ,AT THE SAME TIME, teaches us how to Drive ourself.

So, we are not controlled by the Bible but we are letting ourself be led by its KNOWLEDGE and Through Holy Spirit we learn to understand WHERE this KNOWLEDGE LEADS TO. This knowledge leads to JESUS, the SAVIOUR and LORD of our Soul through the SALVATION of our soul, REBIRTH of our spirit.

There are tons of advises of Jesus, that is ONLY written in the bible, about how to become His Follower. If this was not written in the Bible than how would worldly peoples know about this. They dont have any connection with the Holy Spirit of GOD to know wether it is the Truth or not. For that they need to have FAITH in the WORD of GOD.

Without FAITH a person CANNOT please GOD.
Faith is the first STEP to believe the things written in the Bible. Peoples whom are open for the Spirit of GOD are also going to be LED to READ the Bible.

When I was in the muslim world than Holy Spirit made me aware that I should read the Bible for the Knowledge that I needed to go further on the Path of Righteousness.
The Book of Revelation is really important for a child of GOD. And also the prophecies of the OT are very important to know and to understand because all things of the NEW TESTAMENT are BASED upon the OldTestament.

It began with The OLD TESTAMENT than Jesus brought the NEW TESTAMENT and than Jesus told to WALK and LIVE in the Spirit to the PERFECTION of OUR SOUL.
Now that we are children of GOD than we can also be LED by the Spirit of GOD and not by the Law.
But as SINNERS we must BEGIN with the OT and than the NT and when we have gone through those stages than we go in the LEVEL of the Spirit which leads to the PERFECTION of our Soul.

Heb 6,1
Therefore LEAVING the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us GO on unto PERFECTION; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Heb 7,11
If therefore PERFECTION were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

The Old Testament could not lead us to Perfection and the NEW Testament brought us the Salvation THROUGH the Spirit, which will PERFECT US into all good works.

In other words, we need to keep growing in the spiritual things.
If we go back to Sin than we will be again in step one. Than we will keep repenting and sinning and than repenting again. Than we will remain in this level till we STOP SINNING.
But if we go further than after REPENTANCE the step of CONVERSION Follows, this is to come out of the darkness and go to the LIGHT and lead a life in holyness.
There are MANY STEPS TO MAKE TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

These things are referred to CONVERSION(which comes after Repentance).

Mt 18,3
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be CONVERTED, and become as little children, ye shall NOT enter into the Kingdom of HEAVEN.

Mk 4,12
That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be CONVERTED, and their sins should be forgiven them.
Lk 22,32
But I have prayed for thee, that thy FAITH fail not: and when thou art CONVERTED, strengthen thy brethren.

Acts 3,19
REPENT ye therefore, and BE CONVERTED, that your SINS may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the PRESENCE of the Lord;
Acts 28,27
For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be CONVERTED, and I should heal them.

By these verses we see how important is to walk in the Spirit so that the converion can take place in our heart and mind to understand the righteousness of GOD.
Repentance is NOT enough to enter the Kingdom of GOD.
Much more things is needed to be done in our heart and mind through the Spirit of GOD in our lives. If a person keeps letting the Spirit guide them into the Truth than it will reach the goal, which is to go unto the PERFECTION.

The entire bible including the Old and Testament were all written by inspirtation of the Holy Spirit. There is not any new doctrine in the New Testament that was not found in the old testament.

Yahshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) when He began His ministry, He went into the temple and taught from the scrolls that were written by Moses and the Prophets. The apostles also under conviction of the Holy Spirit taught from the Law and the Prophets. And as you say, the scriptures testified of Messiah. A lot of what the apostles wrote were to clarfy and give meaning to what the law and the prophets taught.
I encourage reading of the bible, it's how we know God
